Bereavement Training coming soon

Suffering the bereavement of a loved one is something that many will have to face and can be a difficult and dark time. So, how do you help others that are affected by this tragic event? Are there things that you should recommend, or things to stear away from? Many don't know where to start and end up avoiding those affected out of uncertainty and awkwardness.

To help church leaders, housegroup leaders, pastoral workers or others interested in being better equipped in this area, Don Cooper,  will undertake a half day seminar to provide some direction with this challenging subject.

Don was formerly with the Fairhavens Hospice Movement and responsible for training over 70 bereavement workers.

Over two one and a half hour sessions, he will split the morning into the questions: What Happens? and What Next?

If you would like to attend, please register via this website (see Sign Up button on Events page). Please note there will be a £10 charge and lunch will be provided.

The seminar will begin at 9am, so 8.30 arrival is recommended.
