There are a wide variety of ways that you can help in church life at Hope Church. However, often people don't know where or how they can help.
This page is put together to highlight some of the main ways that you can get involved. Please see the list below and if you'd like to be involved, please email the church office.
We love to give people a warm welcome when they arrive at the door on Sunday mornings. If you have a knack for welcoming and chatting to new people this is the place for you.
High energy and rewarding. The youth team is run by Sanjeev Manaktala.
The Kids and Crèche work is growing and always welcomes new helpers, especially the parents of kids who attend. Involvement in this important area of church would require a CRB check, since safeguarding is a high priority for Hope Church.
Overseen by Ian Lettington, the popular Alpha course is a great way to talk to people about the meaning of life and the Christian faith. Give Ian a call if you’d like to be involved.
We run lots of lunches and socials (during non-Covid times!) so if you love cooking, baking or preparing food, this is ideal for you.
After services, lunches and socials we really appreciate people who are happy to help clear up and put things away.
This can be getting involved in simple jobs around the building or helping someone in the community. If you have DIY skills and the time to help occasionally, please let us know.
There are always lots of jobs that need doing around the building. If you have time during the working week and don't mind getting stuck into a variety of activities, we’d love to hear from you.
We have a great team of musicians that help us worship every Sunday morning. If you are skilled at playing an instrument and would like to be considered for the band, let us know.
To express an interest in any of the above areas, please email office@hopechurch7oaks.org and let us know where you'd like to serve.
