There are a wide variety of ways that you can help in church life at Hope Church. However, often people don't know where or how they can help.
This page is put together to highlight some of the main ways that you can get involved. Please see the list below and if you'd like to be involved, please email the church office.
We love to give people a warm welcome when they arrive at the door on Sunday mornings. If you have a knack for welcoming and chatting to new people this is the place for you. The Welcome team is run by Caroline Williams.
High energy and rewarding. The youth team is run by Sanjeev Manaktala.
Run by Andy Forbes and Jacci Lucas respectively, the Kids and Crèche work is growing in size and always welcomes helpers.
We run lots of lunches and socials so if you love cooking, baking or preparing food, this is ideal for you.
After services, lunches and socials we really appreciate people who are happy to help clear up and put things away.
Every Tuesday morning we host over 100 new parents by providing a place for them to relax and chat. There's a great atmosphere and people love coming, but we're always happy to see more helpers. Sharon Lester runs the morning.
This can be getting involved in simple jobs around the building or helping someone in the community. If you have DIY skills and the time to help occasionally please let us know.
There are always lots of jobs that need doing around the building. If you have time during the working week and don't mind getting stuck in to a variety of activities, Jane East runs the office and would love to hear from you.
This ministry is set up to help the long-term unemployed back to work. If you would like to become a mentor, we'll put you in touch with Chris Austen who runs the team.
We have a great team of musicians that help us worship every Sunday morning. If you are skilled at playing an instrument and would like to be considered for the band, let us know.
